Mitali- a housing association with ambitions
We have a proud history reaching back to the mid-1980s, when a pioneering group of Bangladeshis living and working in the East End of London formed a co-operative to provide clean, secure homes for members of their community.
Today, 25 years after we were founded, we have reached a turning point in development. We have ambitious plans for the future. These plans build on our experience in empowering communties, and make use of our skills in providing homes for some of the most deprived people in East End.
Our goals are also based upon the strength of our position as a member of Network Housing Group. Being part of this alliance of housing associations makes us a robust organisation but one that maintains its local focus.
In short, our aim is to provide decent homes in safe, friendly communities to even more people, especially in our four key boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Hackney, Waltham Forest and Newham.
